Men are from Mars. Women are from Venus.
I wonder what is the real meaning behind these sentence. Its so cliche' yet amusing. It clearly shows the differences between the man and the woman. In all aspects of life. But, is there a better one? Does this sentence actually suggest a better human race? Is it the men or the fairer sex? I wonder. Then of course, it can always not mean any of these. It can just simply mean that we're different. Men.And.Women. Anyways, the reason behind this totallly random topic is due to this article that I came across earlier. hee. You'd never have thought I'd sit around thinking about this sentence when I can just be stoning away in my room since its the hols right. Wrong. XD http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35788411/ns/health-sexual_health/?ns=health-sexual_health: Men are guilt-deficient, suggests the study. We lack “interpersonal sensitivity,” while women suffer from destructive guilt largely imposed by society. So women need support, while men need fixing. Anytime you study men and women, and ask them about their emotions; women always admit to a far more complex range of emotions. These studies always make me wonder if they are really just measuring basic sex differences. The fact is, men are supposed to feel guilt less intensely because men are, generally, less empathetic than women. Seriously? Is it really true that males feel less guilt than females? I'm not taking sides here. I'm very confused and curious. Being the sotong that I am, I really don't know if this is really the case. :S Theeeen again, I think it maaaybe true in SOME cases. Yep. Personal experience. Cmon. Think. I'm sure that there are sometimes when you wonder out loud why your *FATHER/BROTHER/BOYFRIEND/FRIEND/COUSIN* or *MOTHER/SISTER/GIRLFRIEND/COUSIN/FRIEND* is acting so calm and not feel any guilt for any wrongs or accusations that they have made right. Though, my personal experience is more from the males. GO FIGURE.*shrugs shoulder* XD XOXO. |
